Tee Time - Dustin Johnson Swings His Way to Victory, Beats Smith & Grace in High-Stakes Playoff for Tulsa Crown

In an epic showdown that had spectators on the edge of their golf carts, Dustin Johnson clinched the coveted LIV Golf Tulsa title by birdieing the first playoff hole, leaving Cameron Smith and Branden Grace green with envy.

Staging his triumphant putt from the fringe of the 18th green at Cedar Ridge Country Club, Johnson nabbed his second LIV win, and confirmed what we all suspected: the man's got game.

The American golfer emerged from a triple bogey black hole at the par-four 10th to card a 67 and join Smith and Grace in a thrilling three-way race at the top of the leaderboard on 17 under.

"The game is in really good shape," stated the former world number one, with the swagger of someone who just owned the course.

Johnson teed off with a two-shot lead going into the final round, but South African Grace was hot on his heels, scoring a bogey-free, five-under 65 to challenge him for the throne.

Not to be outdone, Australian Smith swooped in and tied things up by racking up a whopping nine birdies, zero bogeys, and a 61. Talk about a plot twist!

Meanwhile, Harold Varner III swooped in like an eagle – well, two eagles, actually – in his final round 61 to finish third on 13 under. Eugenio Chacarra of Spain and Americans Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau tied for fourth at 12 under, proving that golf is a truly international affair.

All eyes now shift to the second major of the year, the US PGA Championship, which kicks off at Oak Hill in Rochester, New York state on Thursday.

Feeling as confident as a golfer with a titanium driver, two-time major winner Johnson added, "I feel like I'm doing everything really well right now." As for his preparation for the upcoming championship, he said, "I'm really looking forward to next week, obviously get up there and get out and get a little practice in." Watch out, world – DJ's got his groove on!
